From Chelsea reject to Watkins 'upgrade' - Jackson makes fast Villa start

Nicolas Jackson's swift start to his Aston Villa career is turning heads, particularly after his match-winning double against Manchester City. The fact that he was previously rejected by Chelsea adds a layer of intrigue to his story. It highlights the often subjective nature of talent evaluation in football, where one club's discard can become another's key player.

Jackson's performance is also a boost for Aston Villa, who are looking to solidify their position in the top tier of English football. His ability to make an impact against a top opponent like Manchester City suggests that he could be a valuable asset for the team as they compete for European spots or even challenge for the top six. The Premier League is known for its competitiveness, and players like Jackson can often be the difference-makers in closely contested matches.

What's next to watch is how Jackson continues to adapt to the Premier League and whether he can maintain his form throughout the season. Additionally, it will be interesting to see how Aston Villa's season unfolds, particularly in light of their recent performances. With the transfer window closed, the focus now shifts to the pitch, and fans will be eager to see if Jackson's start is a sign of bigger things to come for both him and Aston Villa.
